Hinesville Technology Park

CTech

Component Technologies expanded from Connecticut in 1999 and occupies a 20,000 SF facility. In 2005, Component Technologies in Liberty County became a separate entity called CTech. CTech maintains an electroplating operation for surface finishing and plating. These products are used in the automotive, electronic, and industrial markets. CTech currently employs two employees.

Florapharm Tea USA

Florapharm Tea USA, headquartered in Germany, opened in the Hinesville Technology Park in 2012. The company is currently distributing tea out of the facility. Florapharm hopes to employ 50 out of the Liberty County location within five years.

Midway Industrial Park

Elan Technology

Elan Technology relocated to Liberty County from New Jersey in 1998. They manufacture glass & ceramic insulators used in everything from ballpoint pens to the Hubble Space Telescope. Elan has 45 employees. Elan operates from a 75,000 SF facility.

Hugo Boss

Hugo Boss, a German-based company, located in Liberty County in 2001. They initially constructed a 165,000 SF concrete panel facility, and they recently expanded the building to 330,000 total SF. This facility distributes high-end apparel for both men and women. Hugo Boss currently employs 200 employees as a direct result of the expansion.

International Greetings USA (formerly The Gift Wrap Company)

International Greetings, a manufacturer of high quality gift wrap and stationary products that is headquartered in the United Kingdom, relocated from Massachusetts in 1996. They have expanded their initial 50,000 SF shell building several times, and they recently purchased two additional in the industrial park. Now, they occupy over 500,000 total SF between the three buildings. Their employment has grown from 62 to approximately 180 currently.

Miller Protective Coating

Miller Protective Coating located to Liberty County in 1990. They have a 30,000 SF indoor blasting and coating facility, with an eight wheel wheelabrator which can blast in excess of 150 SF per minute. They also offer a 20x20x70 sealed Recyclable Blasting Booth and two Controlled Paint Booths. Miller employs seven personnel.

 
SNF Floquip

Floquip Engineering Company (SNF Floquip), a subsidiary of SNF Holding Company, a global leader in the manufacture of water-soluble polymers with significant operations in Riceboro, expanded into an available 80,000 SF building in the Midway Industrial Park in 2010. In the Midway Industrial Park facility, the company is customizing equipment for its customers in the oil sands and enhanced oil recovery markets. SNF Floquip will initially employ 50 workers out of the Midway Industrial Park facility with plans to increase to 100 workers within the next five years.

 
Truss Mart

Truss Mart Building Components, a subsidiary of VNS Corporation and manufacturer of custom wood and metal roof trusses and wood floor trusses for residential and light commercial buildings, purchased an available building in 2008. Truss Mart employs 30 in their 22,000 SF facility.

Riceboro

Interstate Paper Corporation

Interstate Paper, a kraft linerboard manufacturer based in Lebanon, has approximately 345,000 total SF. They manufacture 800 tons of kraft linerboard grades per day, including compression strength grades ranging from 35# to 69#. Their products contain 3% - 15% recycled fiber, depending on the grade. Interstate Paper located in Liberty County in 1968, and they currently employ 232.

Newport Timber

Newport Timber was established in 1968 to provide wood chips to Interstate Paper. In more recent years, Newport Timber has added services to include timber appraisals and land management & reforestation planning.

RB Lumber

RB Lumber was established in August of 2006 as an affiliate of Interstate Resources, Inc. They manufacture southern yellow pine lumber, as well as provide wood chips to their sister company, Interstate Paper.

SNF

SNF, which is headquartered in France is one of the world's leading manufacturers of water-soluble polymers and specializes in serving the municipal, industrial, and wastewater treatment industries, as well as a wide array of specialty applications. SNF opened in Liberty County in 1986 with 15 employees, and their on-site employment today is currently 1,300 (including contractors). SNF's manufacturing complex encompasses 1.1 million total SF.

Tradeport East Business Center

Firth Rixson Forgings, LLC

Firth Rixson Forgings, LLC, a United Kingdom-based provider of forged metal products to the aerospace industry, constructed a 200,000 SF facility in 2010. Firth Rixson is expanding its facility by 20 percent and will have 304 total employees when in full production mode.

Target

Target constructed a 1.5 million SF regional distribution center in 2007. This regional distribution center serves Target's Florida area stores and employs approximately 475 employees.

The Tire Rack

The Tire Rack constructed a 242,000 SF (expandable to 500,000 SF) distribution center, which opened in December 2005. They currently employ 28. The Tire Rack is a distributor of high-performance tires and accessories.

Walthourville Industrial Park

Pace Shave

Pace Shave, a California based company that markets private label shaving products to major retail chains in North America, located their third shipping location in the USA and Canada in Liberty County in early 2008. They occupy two buildings totaling 94,000 SF and have three employees.

Waltrich Plastics

Waltrich Plastics was created in 1961 to process a thermo plastic named polypropylene. Waltrich manufactures monofilament yarns made from various resins, as well as weaving narrow fabrics and twisting monofilaments. The company expanded from New Jersey in the mid 1970s to Liberty County, and they eventually consolidated all of their operations in the Walthourville Industrial Park. Currently, Waltrich employs 30 personnel and occupies an 115,000 SF building.
